Hello,

I'm building a 20 years old project that use this kind of resistors.

TA205PA82R0J

I think that the author select this resistors because the space is very tight, and use to-220 style resistors.

The problem is I can't found this resistors anymore. Anybody know a replacement or a trick suggestion?

Thanks.

TA205PA82R0J datasheet call for 82Ω 5W..!!

I'm not sure if there is enough space for equivalent ceramic resistors..

or even for metal-oxide equivalent..

What's the project?  If we knew maybe there's better options.

I worked on a high-frequency project which used these because of the low inductance.

They can be bent back and forth an eventually break off.

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

The project is a tube headphone amp. I think that I try to use metal oxide resistors. This Thick Film are very expensive!!
