4049 2 a dual opamp

convertin your 4049 to a dual o0pamp pinout.  technically if you are like dave barber you could mod all the wires to an ic socket. and make it a direct plug in.

Put your sub opamp in a socket in perf, take a second just large enough piece of perf, 'twangel the wires so the connections from the top perf and socket go through the bottom at least a quarter inch.
  Then I trim and flatten the wires sticking out of the bottom so they'll fit in the original ckt's OA socket.
 I flatten the wires and use 'wiper' type IC sockets, the flattened solid core leads go right in the socket if you align them as they come out of the perf..
 This ends up being tall though so I 'tie' it down with something [urethane sheet strip].
 I find it's a good way to try out different OA's what would normally take building another ckt or heavily modding a pre-ecisting one.
 I did this to a Micro=Amp, using different Dual OA's instead of the [slightynoisey but 'character'] 741.

Hi Ansil.  Nice idea but I'm not sure it'll work.  You've connected pins 7&6 plus 9&10 so the signal is shunted past the inputs of these two inverters.  A signal applied to inputs 7 or 9 won't end up non-inverted.

Maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick?
