Hi everyone

is the EH qtron schematic posted anywhere? I have a guy who wants to pay me to build him one, but it seems i can find it at the usual places like tonepad and aron's page.

Can anyone help?

Thanks ahead

I don't think that one is out there. Mike Biegel is getting income from it and he has publicly asked people to support his work before supporting anybody making copies of the MuTron III.

I would suggest building a similar cicuit instead and adding any mods needed.

Sorry.

Hi, thanks for the info, i'm a little confused about the names of the pedals and what they do, when I was asked for a Qtron I thought it was the same as the Doctor Q, so I though about building a Doctor Quack instead, but apparently this is a total different beast.

I did not mean to undermine someone elses job

Thanks again

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the QTron envelope filter very similar to the Mutron III? R.G. Keen made a Mutron III clone and calls it the Neutron. You can find it at his site. I think that they share many of the same controls. I got a Neutron ready-to-solder pcb from General Guitar Gadgets and ought to finish it up one of these days.

Do a search for Neutron and you'll get a great deal of info.

Doctor Quack is also a very good EF. At least so I've heard
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Not only similar, they are brothers (or are they sisters?) with the same father (Mike Biegel). :)

The Qtron is an update of the MuTron III.
