hey, can i get a normal volume pedal and plug instead of zoom's expression pedal??
will it work?

I don't think so. I think the expression pedal is a pot with a stereo jack attached to it... Maybe you can buy a cheap volume pedal and just make it into an expression pedal. :?
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Youngi most of the time i'm buying a simple volume pedal and i carefully convert it to an expression pedal but i have done this only to use it in place of an onboard potensiometer 8)
I think all the info you'll need is at geofex.com :

By the way i prefer to cut the cable that (most of the time) goes directly from the volume pedal to the exp. input and just place an input jack in there...so it seems to be like a conventional wah-wah pedal.

actually you can make a splitter to use at the end of that conects to the stereo input and use a regualr volume pedal

input on pedal connects to top of pot  output of pot comes out of output of pedal ground is common.
