Quote from: Mark HammerThe mojority of folks here....

OMG, "mojority" is my new favorite word.

Q: Why was the blues jam cancelled?

A: They didn't have a mojority!

Peter Snowberg

Webster take note!

I got my mojo working! ;)

Care to explain what it means exactly? Does it refer to 'mojo' as in the amount of mojo or something....

Oh man I've got myself confuzzled again :D
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

As in- the reason Fender Champs are so popular is because they have a simple mojority...

Normally I'm a real bear about spelling, and I try to check over (visually not with software) the spelling of everything I submit here or elsewhere.  Unfortunately, my monitor has been aging ungracefully and what used to be a killer Mag/Trinitron monitor with crispness you could split hairs with has turned into something verging on a William Turner painting when it comes to sharpness, and some letters magically turn into others, impeding my ability to apply due diligence accurately.

On the other hand, in the garnd tradition of happy accidents, I kinda like the term "mojority" too.  Let's keep it.

I can only hope there aren't any other "creative" spellings in my posts of a less inspirational nature.

OTOH, it stinks getting older, doesn't it? :D

Thankfully, the lady who is helping me set up a wallet-sized single-board computer at work pointed out that I had inadvertently grabbed a serial ttl port instead of the rs232 port to plug in. Unfortunately, I missed the "micro-type" on the port PCB when I grabbed it out of the box. Computers and digital electronics aren't nearly as much fun to blow up as what we do here, like electros and etc. No smoke or sparks- it just basically quits working, costs more money, and pisses everyone off...

I'm going to have to start bringing my magnifying glass or (gasp!) reading glasses to work now...

I think "Mojority" would make a great name for a pedal if it's not already taken   8)

Great name for a TS derivative or coloration booster: Mojority Whip.

If an actual pedal design comes out of the collective reverse engineering of Jeorge's Swollen Pickle, I will feel hurt if it is not named The Sour Grape.

Mark achieved the linguistic equivalent of putting in an unintended part value and getting something that sounds great. As Brian Eno says, "honor thy error as a hidden intention."

Years ago, when I lived nearer to San Jose, CA, a friend of mine made a slip of the tongue that put me on the floor: "maybe we could check out the Rastacrucian Museum."

Great band name or what? The Rastacrucians!

jrc4558

Akin to that.

My band consists of people to whom English is a second language. (didn't i just prove that?) And even though we all spoke it for quite a long time already we still come up with unintentional "hits" from time to time. Thus lacking sufficient amount of cash for buying something was called "we are not money enough".
Also a state of having arrived somewhere just recently goes like "I'm here for only a couple of little whiles"...
and so on.

How 'bout we change major into MOJOR? :D

Next thing you're going to tell me is that "all your bass are belong to us".  :)

I think I read that in the tone control description for the Takky Drive. :D
