Anyone have this? Anything that is close in sound?
Chicago iron has a clone but it is way too expensive for me.
It sounds like a mutron that the envelope is conytrolled by the foot rocker...too flipping cool!!!

Well - how about building a Neutron clone of the Mutron, opening up the circuit where the envelope diddles the filter, and putting in a foot pedal right there to sweep it pedal-ly? A switch would let you choose between modes even.

My layout of the Neutron is available through GGG.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Well I must admit that is tempting as can be as I have the layout a PNP already made of the Neutron (you rock RG! :O) .
I have peeked inot a parapedal and it is a lot less to it than Mu/Nuetron.
I had hoped this had been tackled before.
Are there any much simpler envelope filters I could try this with as well?
Hmmm...by pedaly would it have the same attack as a parapedal or would it still have an opening wah that I could then open futher...Hmm....
I don't think that would be pleasing.....
Thank you for the idea though. Perhaps I will try to toss that into a mutron I have around here first see if it might be cool to build into a Neutron.
Thanks for the suggestion RG!!!

IIRC, the Chicago iron Parapedal boasts of using a "special" dual pot. Which might mean that it can be a SVF filter similar to the Mutron/Neutron. Another possibility might be something like a Ranger Para Exciter pedal. Without the envelope follower, either design is significantly simpler than the Mutron/Neutron.

Thanks Tim I will check those options out!!!  :D
