Well I know this is OT but what the hell!  I've seen more dumber shit here than this.  We know Martha is hung and everyone is starting to pull her of their networks.  So my first passion is playing guitar, second is making repros of vintage effects, third is cooking!  So I know there are a few of you here who probably enjoy an hour or two at the stove like me so I just wanted to warn you, go to www.foodtv.com and get all the Martha Stewart living cooking show recipes before Food network pulls her and here stuff of the net!  She's got some damn good recipes from her show on there brothers!  Recipes for steaks, BBQ ribs, taters, Peach Cobbler, Pecan Pie, roasts, buffalo wangs, fries, icecream, etc. etc..  Get 'em while their still there!!!!  I figure they found her guilty last week so the first order of business Monday morning at Food network is to figure out what to do with Martha's show!  I just saved about 80 recipes from their site from Martha's show!

Did I miss something here? :?

Sorry!  I forget sometimes this is an international forum.  I don't know if she has any Dutch recipes on there, you'll just have to go and look through them.

Enough humor.  Martha got slammed on all 4 counts.  I'm I the only one who watches the news.

I did state this was off topic.  I'm just informing some of my feller DIY stompers who like me can sometimes be found with a spatula in one hand and a soldering iron in the other one that here wonderful recipes will be getting pulled sometime coming up.
To keep it on topic for you.  Did you know you can make nice effects enclosures from those tiny cast iron frying pans  that are used for cooking!

The news didn't mention enything of the sort here, what's happened? I'm just curious, and I like cooking too! Only I'm not that great yet  Gotta get some more practice in...

Go look here little brother!

Let's drop this though I I don't want to get into Martha's crap on the the DIY forum here.  I just wanted to let all the cooks who also hang out here that some damn fine recipes are about to vanish from the net.

Cook on!

It was on the RTL news here.... :)

Ah, I watch the NOS Journaal ;) I must've missed it.

Next time I'm in Sainsbury's I'll ask if they do 'Buffalo Wangs'...though I can't help feeling that security will end up escorting me to the door!

I love cooking.  Today I had lamb's liver in a ginger, onion & tomato sauce.  Liver gets a bad press, but if you do it right...mmmmm!

If she gets sentanced I hope she has enough sense to avoid any salad tossing parties!!!

And now we'll be showing how to decorate one's cell for a festive holiday gathering.

Regards

Martha :P

The interesting part is that what she got convicted of has nothing to do with food or decorating, but they will pull the shows etc... based on this. The content is still good and valid as it always was.

I spent several months as a baker, but I like cooking MUCH more than baking. I like eating the results either way. Thanks for the heads-up on the recipes. :D

We've all got to eat. My favorites are Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Italian, and deserts of all kinds. I'll still looking for a good recipe for Kung-Pao Jello if anybody runs across one.  :P

Take care,

The thing I like making most is pasta. It's easy and tasty if you do it right ;) Whenever I'm allowed into the kitchen again I'll be makin pasta :D

minute rice and chocolate fudge is the extent of my cooking...

making fudge is like waiting for a PCB to etch...the longest 20 minutes of my life...

im not patient enough to cook.

I'm suprised more ppl here aren't into DIY cooking, the point is thge same whetehr you are doing DIY fx or food:
1. it is cheaper
2. it can be better
3. you can get something you want, rather than "for profit" lowest common denominator
4. you learn stuff

I only learnt to cook after I got intyo DIY..
BTW, I don't think much of Martha's stuff!! i'm more "vegaquarian" that is largely vegetarian plus tuna ;D

BTW Martha got a big run in the press here in Australia, but this is the 51st state anyhow (not that we get a vote!)

cool.. thanks for the link.. i enjoy cooking too...

hey tom, got any recipes for us ?

the differenace bettween DIY food and effects is temptation.  I'm a 16 year old guy, and I eat...a lot...whenever i cook i always want to eat it before its ready, or while its still hot or something...I can control myself a little more with guitar effects.

Here is the easy link to all her shows and what the foods being cooked are.  Give it a second to load there are alot of them.

In reference to some earlier posts, there are some recipes for Calves liver and many Greek recipes also.  Also some damn good sushi recipes and Japanese stuff.  (shhhhhhhhh!)  Don't tell anyone I am a sushi addict.  I'll get kicked out of the Sons of the Confederacy club!

Also a nice Chinese steamed pork bun in there.  I have some authentic hand made woks and bamboo steamers for that stuff!  (shhhhhhhhhh!!)
