OT Poptronics - Still there? Wireless

Does anyone know if Poptronics is still around?  Saw a couple posts about their wireless guitar transmitter and want to find out more about it.  

Anyone have any experience with it and what type of FM recvr did you use.

Poptronics is no more. It may have been absorbed into Nuts&Volts, so you could try a query there.

Colin Mitchell, who wrote for PopTronics is still alive and well. And so is his site...

Really like the MiniBench Amp - Will make one of those - kinda of a audio probe on steriods.

PICs... That's what made me register on that site. Not very costly for what you can learn on that site.

Beside what is already free I mean.
