is there another forum like this one that is tube amp oriented and has people as welcoming to newbies?
    the ax84 site seems geared to their projects.and the only other forum i found has about as much traffic as northern alaska.

//www.18watt.com is anothere but mostly for Marshall clone builders.

Try ax84 again, they have a sub-forum for non-ax84 questions, --I've found them very helpful.

Here's a place where I got some good info. I found this place through a friend who's brother builds amps. I may buy one from him soon but I'm still checking other options.

The second link is to some pics of the amp I may buy. The pics are a little dark but the workmanship is frist class and the innards are just as clean as the outside. It has an awesome clean channel. The third link is to some sound clips of the amp. Let me know what you think of it.
