Which Tube Driver ?

I built the Chandler Tuber Driver 9v version quite a long time ago,
but never really used it. It doesn't sound quite good.

I need a killer DIY tube overdrive/distortion, for killing leads / blues riffs.

What would you suggest to go for ?

Hey man... I feel for you with all of that tube driver things... I'va hard times with that one...

for you question, I suggest a minibooster or SSRP or any other mu-amp gizmo - or maybe even a rangemaster for the blues parts (blue magic is great as well)... as for the high gain FX, I haven't built any yet, but the guys here seem to think VERY high of joe davidsson's designs (and I'm planning on bread boarding a vulcan myself tomorow...)

I already got many type of boosters/overdrives including RM.

I need some good *tube* Overdrive, thought about the Chandler 30v version, but I know there are some better designs.
