BC209C supplier, data sheet?

I've been looking to get ahold of some BC209C NPN Silicon transistors for some time now, but I haven't been able to find suppliers who want to sell me some if I don't order at least $350 worth of them...that would be more transistors than the home experimentalist would ever be able to use!

From what I've been able to find out, the BC209 and BC209B are 1A, 45V transistors with a gain of 250+, so it seems like the 209C would have the same 1A and 45V rating, just with a higher gain.

Does anyone know of a solid supplier for the BC209C or have a data sheet for it?

TIA!

...for a comparison of transistors.   Looks like the BC208 and BC184 will be reasonable subs.

Philip, the original ones I have are in (and are usually I'm pretty sure) the black "halfmoon" style case with brass legs, and measure between 500-600...they sound unlike any other BC silicon...probably due to the case style...very smooth with lots of gain, but thicker in the mids than most silicons...

I find that any tranny in that case style (2N3565, 2N5133) sound distinctly different than most others...

IME they have more gain and a thicker sound than BC184C or even BC169C...almost too much for a FF but I've heard some great ones with 209's in them...
