I just finished this fx. Has anyone tried it?
I have a few problems with mine but it works ok.
The sound is a little "muddy" and the frequency pots doesn't operate very well but perhaps this is because I placed them in random.
The schematic shows that one pin from the dpdt goes to pin8 of TL074 but this doesn't work for me and I have no "patern mode" except if I connect the dpdt with one side of the "pattern" potensiometer.
Anyway I don't know if anyone can understand my english... :)

Special thanks to "the Tone God" the contributor of this fx...

I don't know the answer to your question, but your English is excellent.
I didn't even realize it was not your first language till you mentioned it.

Hello. Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner. I had a bad weekend.

Sort the logic stuff out first. The audio can be tweaked later. Try to get the "chase" mode working first since its the easiest mode to get working. Chase mode is active when on the 40193 pin 10 is high and pins 2 and 7 are low. If you get that working try the "bounce" mode by connecting pin 10 of the 40194 to pin 13 of the 4013. Remember to power down and up the effect before each test to make sure all the logic states are set properly.

I just noticed on the schematic that it might not be clear that the output cap is 2.2uF. It could look like it is labeled as 22uF. I also should have included a pad for pin 8 of the TL074 opamp to make it easier to connect to. Minor stuff which should not hold you back from getting it working.

Come back with the results and we'll see where to go from there. Good luck.

Thanks for the replys! The fx now works ok but I'll have to take a look at the "pattern" switch (all the other modes works perfect...). The problem is that if I connect the dpdt with pin8 it doesn't do anythig but if I connect it to one side of the "pattern" pot everything works ok except if I turn the pot on maximum. I'll check everything again and I'll reply to this message with opinions and thoughts about this great effect!

Ps. I think I'm going to place on of these (the sequenser part) to the "shift" pot of my EH Frequency Analyzer
Sonic Youth comes to mind... :)
