I downloaded this programme yesterday from the net and installed it on my laptop. It enables download of MP3 files, and has a seemingly powerful search tool. Later on, my laptop displayed a fatal error page and quoted "0028:C0005IEF in VXD VMM(01) + 00004IEF". Any ideas? Windows then displayed this fatal error on boot up. I eventually got it to lauch winsows and managed to uninstall Winmx and I've had no problems since. I'm running Win98SE with McAffee virus scan and firewall.

don`t know that specific error,
but can assure you that WinMx does run
on win98SE with McAffee VirusScan.
