I think I asked for this sometime ago on the old board, but I can't find the previous post.

So, here's a request for it again. Its still dead !
Google turned up nothing.
Roland's website doesn't seem informative.

If you have a dead one, and were to take fairly high-resolution photos of the top and bottom of the PC board(s), it's highly likely that someone here could help you to trace it out and then help fix it.

Just a thought...

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

This was in my Roland folder. I don't know how it's been "modified".

there used 2 B a Roland Sustain @ RG's site  (?)
it uses LED/resistor-type compression.

don't know if it's the "AS-1" ...
take a jpg of the pcb and post it & we'll all look...

Thanks guys !

It looks pretty similar to the schematic: 4 Trannys, LED-LDR.
But it uses a 18V powersupply.

I've checked the power supply, there is no potential difference between either leg of the LED and ground. Is *that* the problem ? LED and LDR is in a package, so can't see if it lights up or not.

Anyway, I'll gut it a and take a couple of shots.
