Can anyone post a photo of the inside of their EA trem?  I wonder how to lay it out with those two LEDs, especially if it's anything like the sample of the finished box on runoffgrove.com.

While I'm at it, is there any wisdom current EA trem users would like to pass on to a guy who's about to build one?  Just thought I'd push my luck   .
Thanks to all.

If you use the perf layout from Runoff groove and just be careful wiring it, it's a sure thing to work.

Watch the nodes, double check the connections around the LFO caps..I had to..lol...
I found Using non-polar caps there makes it easier also.
...and the speed can be raised/lowered by the cap value chosen for the LFO caps. IIRC .01uf was cool...dont quote me  :) .
I like the stock values, and they provide the speed range I prefer.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

i used a layout i made on busboard and it worked great. if i have the time, i'll draw it up electronically. It was the easiest build i've ever done. had absolutely no problems with it. shouldnt be too hard to make the LED's socketed right next to each other like in the runoffgroove pic. course, mine is in a cigarette tin and not at all as nice as that one!

the board is small though, and no large components like an LDR assembly, you should have plent of room to work with in the box.

You can get some ideas from my EA-Tremolo at my site www.pisotones.com, using GGG's layout but modified to use two LEDs and two actuators or from my friend's MBC's EA-Tremolo using his own layout, also at www.pisotones.com.

Both in spanish but with some photos and graphs that may help you.
