Op-Amps For Modding

Im a little confused about which op-amps (dual) everyone uses to mod Ts and other dist/boost pedals.

I've used 4558, TL072 and NE5532 but which others do you guys recommend to try out ? I know the final decision is by ear but I'd like to try as many as possible

TI's RC4558 (as opposed to the JRC4558), TI's 4559 (heavier dist.), Burr Brown OPA2134 & OPA2064 (quiet, smooth). These are available as free samples from Texas Instruments.

You already mentioned my favorite, the NE5532. A quiet, smooth, sweet sounding chip that's plentiful and cheap. I always try it wherever a dual OA is used. It's cousin, the NE5534 gets the nod where single OA's are used.

Gotta get more of these ones.
 I used 'em all up when replacing the TL082's in my phazers, which by the way work real fine and are very low noise.
