Feedback Loop/ Basic Topology [?]

I would like to understand what the topology of a feedback loop [from the output of a TS, to the negative OA input] looks like, or what's in it.
 Having looked at the Overdone FD-1 [a TS type feedback schematic], I can't make out which are the poles and which are the throws on the 3PDT.
  Say I wanted a non-switched/always on FB loop on a TS, coming from output...what would go between output and the OA's negative input.
 Or is the switch necessary for some other reason than to able/disable the FB portion of the circuit?

EDIT: After re-reading your post I think you mean the switch that adds another gain-pot to a TS?

I'm guessing your talking about one of those feedbacker/noisemakers.
Believe me you want a switch, and a pot.
Get a length of wire and put a clip (alligator etc.) on each end, then add a fairly large pot (over 250k), wired as a variable resistor, in the middle of the wire --instant feedbacker. Clip one lead at the output of the circuit, and one on the input, adjust the pot until it makes entertaining noises. Try feeding-back at various other places, until you find something interesting, then add a switch and wire the mess in.

 It looks like there's an 'extra' part or two in the feecback portion'.

Pete, the switch is just adding a cap-to -ground at the output (C15) --it just looks like a loop..
The switch-poles are oriented  vertically. the  handle goes up/down --not right/left
