OT: Dumb / Easy / Quick Question: "TRACKING Number"

Sorry,
I ordered some parts from Small Bear, and Steve after he shipped to me sent me by email a "Tracking Number" for my package.

But I have no idea how use it... And I guess I should not ask Steve for this cause he's very busy these days, so I'm asking for your help here...

I tried this address: http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/netdata-cgi/db2www/cbd_243.d2w/output with the number Steve sent me but it says: "There is no record of that item. If it was mailed recently, information may not yet be available. Please try again later." But I know it was mailed more than a week ago...

Well, I'm not concerned with the time to get it here(Brazil), as I know it takes almost a month to arrive here, but I'd like to "track" it...
Is that website the one I should use for the tracking service??? I have no idea...

The order I just got came by fedex. //www.fedex.com

If it's UPS try //www.ups.com then use the drop down window to select your country.

This is what Steve sent me:
"Thank you for your order! Will ship Monday, Global Priority Mail # LX73360XXXXUS.
Well I changed the last four number digits by XXXX, but it starts with "LX" and finishes with "US"....

Any thougths???

You had the right website. Just ask Steve.

If you have just purchased the items you should wait for a while
because UPS might not have loaded it yet or taken account for it .

I recieved a tracking number from TI for some samples about three hours ago and i tried it straight after but it said it was invalid.

I waited for about an hour and it then worked and gave me all the details
of where it is and where it had been.

so try waiting a while and if it dosnt work then get back to steve about it.

Maybe the number I got could be mis-typed(typo)...........

Steve quickly aswered me and he said that it's normal, "In some cases the item has arrived before the tracking number shows up.
So, thats OK...

I'm just gonna relax and build something... uhmm "Bass Fuzz" for that project I know I have all the parts that I need...  And it sounds cool, very cool, already breadboarded that...
