Anybody know of any 3PDT switches that will fit into BOSS or Ibanez enclosures.

you are aware, that boss uses  a different type of switching correct?

then once you are around that issue...then you can do the switch.

I've seen a lot of questions like this-rehousing a store bought pedal and adding a bypass switch. I've thought about doing that as well. IMHO, it would be MUCH cheaper and simpler to build a bypass box and loop all of your non-true bypass pedals with that. It would probably be more versatile too-you could go to a bank of effects and switch them in and out at will, instead of doing the St. Vitus dance to switch them on or off all at once.

Switches must be available somewhere, because Maxon use 4PDT push/push switches in their 9 series pedals.  Whether or not they are specially made I don't know, it certainly seems likely.

I agree. This is a very reoccuring theme--esp w Boss effects (which are fine anyway)

Building a bypass box for each effect wouldn't seem economical at all unless I'm missing something here.

What I am actually doing is making my own cast enclosures and would like a small switch that will fit inside.  I designed mechanics so that even a pcb mount push switch would work.   I'd really rather use Aron's switches since they're about the cheapest I can find but they won't fit.

Thanks TheBigMan that is exactly what I am looking for, I will contact Maxon and maybe they will be kind enough to point in any direction.

The replies were based on the (fair) assumption you were doing rehousing. How deep are the boxes you are using? If you can't find a switch that fits perhaps you've made the encloses too small / shallow?

I'd venture to suggest that even if you can purchase the Maxon-type switches you'd need to go for 1000 or more to get the OEM interested! Good luck though.

That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm just suggesting building one or two bypass boxes and looping in your non true-bypass pedals.
