hopefully this isnt' too bad of a scan here. i did two copys of the scan as i wasn't sure with this monitors resolution the quality of it.

this is a plexi/traynor hybrid a friend has a traynor head i modded and as i told him it was going to need some serious work as most of his connections were corroded, but he didnt' have the money to spend on it before. now he does so he asked me to redo the whole board and a few other things based off my original zepp/hendrix mods.  so heres a rough unsoldered shot.

the first shot is with a black background behind it so you can see the plexi glass better. [at least thats what i thought]
the second is with the black background removed.

thought i would say hey.

also i got a few of these left ie unpoplulated based of the plexi schematics ie drilled to plexi schematics if anyone wanted one.

also i am not selling them thats why it isnt' posted in the for sale section i was offering. :D

...  with a connection directly to your cerebral cortex!

Seriously, Ansil, you do some of the most inspired engineering I've ever seen!  You put Edison and Ford to shame.

Thank you very much for the compliments i would like to say thanks also to Hairforce one. for getting me back into working with metal again.  i found quite a few desktop computers [not towers though the flat ones] that can be hammered into submission to make amp chassis that are the same guage steel.  although it isn't quite as easy as it sounds with a 5lb hammer [mallet] and bolt this sucker down it can be go from raw case to needing to grind down the bottom of the amp chasis in about an hour.  but then again i am also quite sore from beating the crap out of this thing lol.  but i did do some other beatings as well. a few speakers and stuf out of frustration.

EDIT  also i guess i should say i am progress of building a new metal hat. to pickup transmissions.  :D

Ansil, I hope the amp stays cool, acrylic becomes soft enough to start bending at around 160 F.

its lexan and at a 270 degree F i am rather unconcerned also its 3/8" thick . thanks for the wise words though  :D  also i have used this for quite some time and had no problems  but out of safety's sake thats why i use a thicker sheet than a normal board.  and i also have  a backing underneath it. much better than what is available in all the amps i have serviced.

ARE YOU  left handed?
have you been using a right handed hammer???<>>>try a leftie>>>

yes i think it is this board that someone has "cut it large and smash it into place with a hammer" as there quote.  i love that.. is it gringo?? cant' remember.  but yes nothing like a hammer to beat things into submission.  although i have to remmeeber now to use the metal desk not the wooden one as the chasis table now. i broke one of the drawers on my wooden desk had to screw it back together and hot glue it. lol

great way to take out agressions. lol.   AL  yes i have about 5 of these left.  :D
