OT/ Voodoo Labs Mini Vibe Question

I just bought a Voodoo Labs Mini Vibe and it sounds really good. The only problem (?) is when the "intensity" knob is anywhere but near maxed out, the highs seem to be missing from the guitar signal. I realize I'm not posting a schematic, but I know quite a few members have built Uni Vibe clones and thought maybe this is a common thing to adjust, as it seems to be for Dist/Overdrive Pedals. BTW, I am a newbie with only a Bobtavia, Overdrive 250 and Boutique Bender build under my belt. Thanks for any input.

I used to have one of these and I seem to remember that there was a trimmer inside that was adjustable to bring out more highs

These pedals seem hit and miss with the treble loss. I have one and it doesn't have that problem.
