Good selection and prices on components and BC transistors. Sometimes their shipping is dismally slow.

Sometimes easy to replace with BC547's and BC548's off course.
C's are very very very high gain transistors, sometimes also easy replaceable with B's. I don't know for which purpose you would need them...?

the "9" -s are low noise!

you can even improve that by using BC550C;
(modern version of the old 549 series...)

The BC549C is an lo-noise NPN. No frills. Just pick any 2N**** lo-noise, and you're safe.
