Anyone know of any resources where one could not just have an led flasher but have it say for example: act as a triangle wave(both rising and falling in the starting position) _and_ square wave?

Small Bear's Tremolo has a 555 based LFO that, I think, will do that.

Is it just the entire top half is the LFO section?
