hey Matt.... something wrong in that diode array... I hope just in the schematic!

Looks like a pretty standard bridge rectifier to me - what am I missing?

Gabriel

I think D2 and D3 should be the other way around other wise the transformer is short circuited
Completed builds: BSIAB2
Pedals to build: Dr.Boogey, TS-808

As drawn it's not connected correctly, it needs rotating 90 degrees anticlockwise, so the junction of D2 and D4 goes to the regulators and the junction of D1 and D3 is ground.

You need to reverse D2 and D3 or when node 2 goes negative with respect to node 1, the transformer is shorted through the diodes.

This is a modified Tremulous Panneur

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0mbIzpdsoQ This clip demonstrates that the two input signals are being blended rather than just alternating.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx4_NXUzDdY This clip demonstrates the interaction between the two LED/LDRs within the circuit

There is another panning mode and some other features that I will also post.

Did you make the enclosure? Very nice.

You wear that glove on your hand in fear of being shocked don't you? LOL

Cool project!!

Was this guy turning the knobs for you?

I think it was the cookie monster, actually  :icon_biggrin:

I love the way you did the enclosure and knob layout.

Great pics!  LOL!

The enclosure is all DIY.  I'll give details when I post more sound clips (Stereo!), and I describe how to do the mod.

The glove is DIY too.

Ah, yes, I see.  I always use an IC bridge, so I guess I don't think about it too much.

Hello together,
yummy - i love those etched enclousures  :icon_eek:

Here's the next one of my pedal-collection,
a "Brian May Treble Booster"-clone called "Cornish Treble Booster"
(because of its resemblance to the Cornish-Booster TB-83)
I built from an own layout again...

In the middle you see the Brian May-Signature
- but I'm sure you all know this without this comment rockers  ;)

I had 15 transistors (same type) to select from my ear,
was a very time-eating job, but the result is a good sound (for my taste)...

Polishing the enclousure with steel-wool took a long time - I think I don't do it again  ;D

New 5 channel programmabe footcontroller-looper from N-audio

Today I take the new pcb's for 6 channel footcontroller
Here are how they look

I use 2 different GND layers. The overall bottom layer is for a digital part and shielding the overall pcb. The small top gnd layer is for shielding the relay and analog part. This 2 GND layers have only one common point at the input capacitor.

Soon I will post the new and complete programmable pedal controller including user manual and more pictures.

PS Next time pcb's will be another color - maybe black, red or blue. I forget about color and defaut is a green.

EDIT: Here is a short 3d video of the pcb

Hey, Magnus, that's a perfect wiring and a really classy design, congrats!

Nikolay... That's awesome.

Hi there

my last build, it's an Hot Silicon, switch is hard-wired inside as I wanted a clean look of the pedal and didn't find the "right" place for the switch. May be I'll use those little switches you can find in printers or PC and make a small hole on the bottom in order to activate the switch with a pencil.

First (and last!) time trying to use water decals, never again!, still need to find a good way for labelling

Gristleizer from the recent pcb issued thru this forum by Taylor...

As you can see this pedal goes great with fuzz. The fuzz depicted here though is a really complicated build, typically "out of control" on all settings, so I don't recommend them for the novice builder.  :)

Box is recycled computer switcher box from the 90s- the Davies style switch cap is from that box and the bizarre rate knob was found in the "old weird knobs" box at my local electronics surplus shop. I have NO idea what that might have come from originally. I can see a big future for using old computer trash for pedal enclosures- the amount of computer trash in the world is mind boggling and a lot of it is pedal sized and available for free!
