The Copper clad still is very opaque so I don't know well how it would work.
I'm not too into that look anyway. Plus the plexi would make the top
even thicker and also light around the edge a lot more than it would the
lettering so that would be distracting...

True. To prevent the light from shining out on the edges you could try to paint those.

Bass Parallooper > Catalinbread SFT > Echo Base Delay

A bit of a mess inside... but it works well.
Sounds nice on guitar as well.

very nice board in there   ;)  how are the LPF/HPF set up in the paralooper?

Thanks for the compliments fellas.  :icon_redface:

The HPF is on the OD loop so you can thin out the Overdrive signal.
The LPF is on the clean bass signal so you can cut the highs there.
It's pretty cool because with the thin OD and the bassy clean bass you
can get some interesting tones. The OD doesn't muddy up the sound
and the clean bass has control over clicking and string noise (cutting highs).

This has been a loooooong time in the making, but it's finally finished!!  Electric Mistress retrofitted with an MN3007.

I just seemed to run into issues at just about every step of the process:
- trouble getting parts and finding an enclosure at a decent price - looked like the postage was going to be 3x the price of the enclosure
- spend ages trying to sort out noise issues only to discover the the circuit just doesn't get on with switching power supplies like a 1-Spot. Works well with a battery - haven't been able to try it with a transformer based PS yet.
- discovered a big volume drop issue when the circuit was activated which hadn't come up in discussions before.  Resolved this one by adding a LPB-1 stage to the output.  That's the little add-on taped to the side of the enclosure
- had to redo the artwork after the some heavy handed glueing caused the colours to bleed on my first attempt
- I hate the Jaycar shielded wire I used.  The conductor is so thin and flimsy - it responds very badly to any mechanical stress

But despite all that it fired up first go and sounds amazing - well worth persisting through the issues.

Hello together,
great pedals and wah's  8)

Today I finished my wahwah too, it is a modified Crybaby GCB-95.

- True-Bypass (Buffer removed)
- added Led (on top of the pedal)
- Resistor-swap to 1% metal-layer
- Electrolytic-swap to Panasonic FC
- Capacitor-swap to Styroflex and Vishay BC
- Transistor-swap to NOS BC109B "metal cans"
- Skull-sticker for fun

Sounds really great now, I wish I could rent this Crybaby from stock to make a direct comparison...

Here it is:

Greetings
Magnus

well, heres my last build for a fair while as ill have to be concentrating on uni work and my dissertation. irronicaly its the simplest ive ever built its just a killswitch in a box, exactly the same as my last post but with a SPST switch so the blue base doesnt flicker when the signal is grounded.

Catch you later guys, keep up that pedal porn  :)

Nice builds, guys ;)
Here's a reverse etching take of a design I made a while back. It's a Small Clone Chorus with the bright cap selector mod, Depth pot and speed indicator leds.

Very nice Slade! I like the flatness of the finish.
Semi gloss looks nice with the shiny knobs
and silver of the box.
