Any bets on who wins ?

I'd vote for tuckster if it was a vote. But I actually think every one of the entries was cool in its own way.

Hard to say. I like all three. Each one has it own style. I really like the way the first entrys pedal sounds. Its got a mean tone :icon_twisted:

they were all really nice... I liked the evilness of the mostly point to point ic muff... ptp is always evil  :icon_evil:

I like the bat-motif pedal the best. Mainly because the battery+board sleeps on a nice, comfy blanket inside.  :icon_lol:

Hello together,
here's the reason I didn't participate on the 666-Competition,
I'm shure I would have made it but I started the Murder One-Project
much earlier than the competition started...

Yes, the tube you can see is real NOS from March 1958  ;)
(...manufactured 27 years before my birth!)

Just can't wait to get it finished  8)

Ingredients:
- Vishay Dale-Resistors
- 1N4148-Diodes, 1N4007-Diode
- WIMA MKS-Capacitors
- Panasonic FC-Electrolytics
- Precision gold-plated IC-socket
- hand-tinned pcb-traces

Hi Magnus,

Another very interesting device you are presenting here : seeing that, I remembered that I have some tubes like these, coming from army NOS surplus : 2 x 6286, 4 x 5676, 1 x 5672, 1 x 5678.

What is your circuit for ? Where can I find information to make a trial ?

I see mainly a voltage multiplier - what about the rest ?

Thanks & A+!
I apologize for my approximative english writing and understanding !

Goldplatinierte Präzisionssockel für einen Spannungsverdoppler - Magnus, du hast echt ein Rad ab! I :icon_lol: Hast du jemals einen Halbleiter direkt eingelötet?

I just argued, that using a gold plated socket for a voltage doubler does not make any sense to me.:D Why not soldering it directly in? So does the super audio grade electrolytics also make no sense to me in that circuit.

Oooooo, a Valvo tube!  <place for a lot of drool and love smilies here>

Hello together,

@Fuzz Aldryn:

@tubelectron:
It is the Murder One Mini-Tube-Amp from Slade/Frequencycentral:
http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=73222.0

I got the tubes from a german store for batteries
and they were very cheap, I got 4 ones for 12 Dollar including shipping-costs  :)

It's a FC own circuit design, I only made the design and etched the enclosure for the prize in the 666 competition ;)

markeebee

Yeah, Slade is ALWAYS trying to take credit for other people's work.

Those really amazing etched pedals that he keeps posting? Those are mine.

Brymus

This thread moved at least two pages a day the last week before it hit 666
Now its been on the same page for 3 days....
The prize isnt done because the deadline was supposed to hit until he end of this month.
I think thats the reason for the low amount of entries,IMO
I know I told the lady that was supposed to paint on my Gemini Witch she had plenty of time to go on vacation, then well...

Cardboard Tube Samurai

Yeah, I would have entered had it not been for the rate of posts in this thread leading up to it. Made it very difficult to get something finished in time

I complained a lot about this one but the feedback has been good, so I thought I'd post it
Blood, Sweat & Flux. Pedals made with lasers and real wires!

Yeah, you say all that only because I'm younger isn't it? Well, you better don't show any new circuit, or I'll take the credit from it all over the world and sell it as my own. What you think of that?
