well well well, what have we here? my first build for the season, a complete disaster a tim distortion, all knobs and jax. the Al casting is all that's left from the original RF freq converter thing, which I rebuilt as a super modded Dr Quack, which I was just about to rebuild as the uglier face-ier until customer came along.

first perf, a real mess. hope I never have to fix a broken wire. and it doesn't whistle since I added the kilo of heatshrink. ask me how much I hate sheilded cable, and doing all the jax three times ..... at least the photos are getting better. nice moirs, crappy knobs.

in the UK eddystones are  all we get hold of...(which is good for us,)

however i did do a chance buy of 10 x 1590b's (round corners) from china on one of the alibooboo type sites

and they sanded nicely...(not as good quality as eddystones) but ok...and cheap..

^ yep lots of those.  .and 120-180 grade wet n dry...and elbow grease..

its not too hard really with a good hard rubber sanding block, soapy water ...sand in one direction, ..(no, not that s..t pop group 'one erection'   ) done..
