hi i am looking for a diy project overdrive/distortion pedal !i want to have versatile gain and lots of dynamics and response to the volume adjustments   something between a ts and a heavy metal pedal (i know it is difficult to find) any ideas? ???

jonathan perez

youre about as vague about what you want as my girlfriend when i ask her "what are you in the mood to eat?"  :D  ;)

well, cruise around generalguitargadgets.com, tonepad.com, fuzzcentral.com and try these:
http://www.4thlevelmedia.com/stompboxes.html

youve got about every ounce of distortion at your disposal. use them wisely.  :)

no longer the battle of midway...(i left that band)...

i am a wah pervert...ask away...

liakos

the problem is that i want all in one ;D

Look under the couch... Maybe you left it there.

Seroiusly, it sounds like you want something like the OmniDrive.
I am not responsible for your imagination.

I want something that will help me in the kitchen.  You know, something that will make toast, filter coffee, fry eggs, and wash dishes.  One of "those".

In some respects, one distortion is simply another one with some changes.  At another level, the different sounds you seek can involve different processes that require about as much as a second pedal would require.  Just make yourself a couple of different ones in one box (they usually don't take up much room) and switch between them.

Try Tim Escobedo's "Tripple Fuzz". Remember that your guitar has a volume control, too.

OmniDrive is very flexible and versatile gadget.
In opposite, Tim's Tripple Fuzz is a kind of very special thing IMO.
