a question, Zvex Rock of box = Marshall Bluesbreaker I pedal?

The sound of the pedals can be equalized?

Which the main differences of timbre?

Thanks
André

I believe the Box of Rock is 3 MOSFET gain stages (based of Zvex's super hard on) hooked up in a row, with EQ and other filtering happening in between each of them.

Go look up at the BSIAB 2 or the Thundercheif for examples of pedals that use FETs in similiar way (and end up sounding very marshally if thats what you're looking for)

The Bluesbreaker is rather different with opamps and a soft clipping setup with diodes in the feedback loop, again, theres the EQ going on before and after the actual distortion (which really is the key to voicing these things)

No. It's a good sounding combination of two FET Mu-amps. It's not trying to emulate or simulate anything.

The Thunderchief is what you could call a FET amp "emulator" or "simulator", based on the "Super Lead".
