Preferences for Electric Mistress issues?

I wanted to build one (as if I don't have enough flangers!  :icon_rolleyes: ), with an SAD-1024 (and might include a second very-short delay for TZF).  Do people have any preferences for a given issue?  There are those running off 9V, those using a regulated 15V, and those using a 12V supply.  Any audible differences?  I'd be running it off a central supply that could give me any of those supply voltages, so the choice needn't be made on the basis of that.

I think they all sound pretty similar, but I would go for the regulated 15v version so I coulds use 2 x PP3 batteries while building for testing purposes. I remember trying some pretty basic pre-emphasis before the BBD and de-emphasis after, possibly from a Craig Anderton circuit which made a very small noise reduction.

I built a Deluxe Electric Mistress using the layout provided on this thread
Gilmour pedal

I built it to run off 9v and it worked well enough but, for some reason I can no longer recall, I've been using it with 12v so perhaps it sounded better like that? It's been on my board since I built it though it has been modified over the years. Firstly to increase the overall volume to percieved unity and secondly to filter out most if not all of the high end hiss.

It uses 4558, RD5106A, LM324, LM311N and CD4013BE so I'm not sure it counts if you plan to use a SAD-1024
