Here's my latest build. A variation of the 1978 IC Big Muff.

Perhaps not the best wiring in the world, but it sounds good. The ciruitboard is just for having some place to mount the IC sockets. It's a 4558 & an uA741. There's an extra switch to toggle between two different diode-bypass caps (as well as not having any in the circuit at all). The fourth pot is a "body" control, basically just an extra tone control. And the DC  jack is actually a 3.5 mm mono tele jack.  ;D It made it a bit easier to get the "correct" polarity on the jack (tip +, ring - ) as opposed to the silly  :icon_wink: center negative option.

I did notice that I too have some four digit 4558s lying around along with a bunch of film caps from the '80s & '90s so TS808, here I come!  :icon_cool:

JEEBUS!!! I'm not knocking on your work, but damnn!!! How can you navigate around that "point-to-point" wiring? I would get lost after the first two components. :D

I learned to solder by working on tube amps. So I'm pretty used to it. It's quite nice to not getting shocked by high voltage when working on 9 volt pedals.  :icon_mrgreen: The noise can be a bit loud when accidentaly discharging a 500 volt cap with a screwdriver.  :o :icon_redface:: icon_lol:

La Rosa - My forever morphing preamp.

Absolutely stunning ! Is it a low voltage design?

Beautiful tube design (as always) ! Did you use OHP transparancy film for the graphics?

A Mojorific 808 (JRC4558 out of an early 80's Sony tape recorder)

Makes me wish I hadn't thrown that 1984 Sony tape recorder about 1 month before I got into this  :-[
Time to scavenge for leg-warmers era electronics

oh and page 665...  :icon_twisted:

Bleating and babbling we fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers,
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Stick the Tremulus Lune in a Feedback Loop and your neighbors will call the cops on you. Which will be awesome.
