Some modulation pedals I built recently. Two are by Effdub/Culturejam, and one is from Runoff Groove. Enjoy!

Shoot the Moon (CultureJam/Effdub)

Warbler Tri-Vibe (Runoff Groove)

Veeeery nice playing and presetation, Jon, I wish I was able to do something like this. It's just a real shame how lousy is audio recorded, camera's ALC is a killer especially in tremolo demo :(

Thanks, Thomeeque.

The sad part is that this camera has some of the better audio available in a handheld ... but my dad has one with really good sound and less compression. I might borrow that in the future for any tremolo or compression pedals.

I'm not much of a chorus fan but that sounds pretty good.
Consistency is a worthy adversary

I posted several new demos to my youtube channel of designs from around the DIY community. All of them are projects I built on perfboard in the last month or so, except for the Whisker Biscuit, which is on one of EffDub/Culturejam's fabbed boards.

Engineer's Thumb -- MerlinB's excellent design.

Mini Red Llama (Baby Bactrian) -- it's the Madbean schematic but done on perfboard after I was practicing with the DIY Layouts program. (Here ya go ... http://jonpattonmusic.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/red-llama-1590a.pdf)

Mini Fallstaff - my little rangemaster derivative with some changes I made recently to make it play nicer with brighter gear. (Here's the layout: http://jonpattonmusic.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/fallstaff-od-layout2.png

Mini Orange Squeezer -- Again, Brian's schematic (which is pretty standard), but I deviated as I usually do when building these. This is my favorite OS so far.

Whisker Biscuit -- Effdub's board. HOLY CRAP LOUD. The next one I make will probably have a much smaller volume pot.

Enjoy!

Cave Dweller vs. Nature Dweller!

A stock Madbean Cave Dweller vs. my attempt to mod it for a more natural dry sound. It's 90% successful, but I might open the box up ones more to tweak a tiny bit more. (Lower the input cap just a hair and maybe bump the repeat filter cap back up to the original value.)

the bad idea ....

not a pedal , just a silly noise maker but i kinda like how it sounds , specially at the end with the strobe light on it .

stella mini amp kit , "great clean tone" , it is not lm386 based , 9 volt battery operation .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHOYV33n9qM

there is a part one to that video with more info if interested ... the audio for the clean tone part doesnt do it justice , it just smokes the 386 chip amps when it comes to clean though .
im learning , we'll thats what i keep telling myself

A Harmonic Percolator with a diode selector switch (1N695 and OA126). My favorite fuzz that I've built so far. :)

Built on perf from the Madbean schematic.

KMG

Several video samples recorded by my friend using my microamp (prototype).

Quick test (webcam mic) of KMG microamp (250 mW), Charvel Model 6.

Quick test, Randal RG75 vs KMG microamp as poweramp, Charvel Model 6, ENGL Tubetoner.

Test different modes of recording - recording with Shure SM58 without cap, PA output parallel to cab with impulse (Mesa 4x12 V30) and cabsim out of microamp (mix).
