Does this count?  My first use of PnP blue, left to right: tonepad wah, tonepad Dist+, Gaussmarkov BSIAB2 and
Gaussmarkov Dr. Boogey.  I did 2 at a time.

Left to right: tonepad wah, tonepad Dist+, Gaussmarkov BSIAB2 and Gaussmarkov Dr. Boogey.  I did 2 at a time.
Only had to do minimal touching up, as opposed to a 1/2 hour mission with the photo paper/magazine paper.

Pity about the lighting quality, haven't figured out how to take a good photo with lights.
Might wait for daylight next time!   Quite pleased with the results though, will etch tomorrow.    :icon_mrgreen:

yeah.i reckon it qualifies...so you did it then...wahhheyyy...looks like a good result...nice..

now for the messy bit..lol... :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:

Nice work
Is this what you might call a "pre gut shot "? Now you just have to add that other fluid to impregnate the circuit.  ;D
This is it the closest you can get to a stomp box to be.
The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

Second 1590a build. this one is a thank you to everyone here for helping me learn, the circuit board is rescued from my first ever attempt at DIY'ing i kept it hanging around for nostalgias sake and a year and a half later i have learned enough to salvage it. Chears again, may the learning continue  :)

looks really neat. you should be happy with it.

the next build will need the obligatory gut shot too..... (:
Thanks Darron, I hope the next stompbox I'll build would have a decent wiring, so I'll not be ashamed to post a gut shot! :)

Thank you Armando!
Yeah, I used Talken primer, color and gloss... I'm very happy with them! :)

My first "full-optional" pedal: an MXR Dist + :)

Thanks to everyone who helped me!!
Here is a sample of how it sounds; the four steps are: bypass -> gain set to 0 -> gain set to approximately 1/2 -> full gain.
I recorded it directly through a Guitarport with a speaker simulation of a 4x12 cab (Celestion G12T75 cones) and a little bit of delay.

Mistakenly posted in the 'workspace' thread, here they are now in the correct place:

I'm too nana-knickers to drill manually, so gonna get a dremel drill this week.  Can't wait!   ;D
Oh does anyone have ideas for more precise cutting?  I used my dremel cutting attachment but
one back move and a tracer's historyburger.  Then tried my coping saw and blunted it pretty quick.
Anyone?

junior hacksaw and a vice works well for me, then file the edges with some small files

let me know how that d.r boogie works out, i built a rat and voodoo drive off that site and after hours of debugging i still cant get them to work, starting to mistrust it a little (mabye its me being a klutz though as other have used the same layout and done fine) despite the dod 250 layout working fine.

Hey man nice boards!  I really want mine to look professional, super straight, cos I have some interest from people
who want to buy some/have some made.  Don't want to send their pcbs back with nicks and burrs etc.

chears, mine are a bit wonky as i didnt take much care when fileing but if you line up whatever edge your filing with the straight edge on your vice then file all the way down so your filing 'metal to metal' at the end you should get some nice straight edges

Yeah that's a really good point!  And I will do that, next time.  As it stands they all turned out good, but did have 1 or 2
close calls with tracers.  Just need to get my routine down.   :)

A lot of time I don't post in this topic, still some pedals have been made...
Here's some of the latest...

MXR phase45 - man, I love that sound!!! Use that damn perfboard layout from Rick (you know I hate perf...) but took out the mod pots, so only the switch remains...Wanted to use the numbers, found those flame ones that I love!!! And the MODIFIED too...It wasn't intentional, but this thing is too much BIKER!!! HDIAB?! Harley Davidson in a box?! Naaaaa

Second one is a Box of Metal, personally made the vero layout that is now in my gallery...well, I just don't like it...too many components for not many sounds available...It sounds so "boxed up", so thin, altough there's plenty of gain, but you know...
Also the EQ isnt' the best you can find...but the guy I made it for just asked for one, so here it is!!!

The third is a...well, you guess it!!! Great sound! and easy to build! And the fourth too!!!

Then comes an OCD, with a board shot - I love to paint the board!!!

Last line, you see two Fuzz Factory...

Done an' workin'=Too many to mention - Tube addict!

WOW what a "summer collection" !  :D
