@motvej, I love those pedals! Very cool etchings! I dig the color choice on that Pulsar, too. It's close to "Chevy Green" (light green/turquoise color), which I'm quite of fond of.

@free electron
This gets my own personally made smiley! Yes, I think it's THAT cool...  ;D

Just a fuzzbox (work still in progress...)

Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

It's been a long time...haaa life!  ::) Anyway here's one for my bro, he learned me everything on guitar and a lot in life in general. The gorgeous girl is our deceased mom. Hope he'll like it!
First time with epoxy finish, a bit messy but easy to work with. Mike's enclosure are awesome and the guy too!

Salut!
d.

That's lovely.  The box, the sentiment, everything.  Your bro will be very proud.

In fact, I only come to the hardware mall and pick some nice colors for my taste.
But if spray can is quite cheap, claimed color and valid color may vary slightly ;D

Also, pulsar has a lot of design defects and mistakes, but it came pretty nice

A slightly modified version of Effdub's "Neptune" Delay, a Deep Blue Delay derivative with a button that kicks in a vactrol to warp the pitch of the repeats.

The Femorii were the seagods of Irish mythology (though I learned today that technically this is based on debatable etymology - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fomorii). They were described as "violent and misshapen" - - I can think of no better descriptor of what the warp button does on this design. Kudos to Effdub for really thinking outside the box on the original mod.

The paint job took a very long time and was still partially wet when I took the photos, but I'm pretty happy with it. I wanted to evoke a roiling sea, sea weed, and fish without painting anything in particular. The knob labels contain misshapen Irish script letters (t, m, r, and d clockwise from the top left) -- but in a nod to the original name of the circuit, I've also hidden Greek letters underneath (we should all recognize a mu, right?).

The designs are evolving every month, it's just awesome. Especially the etchings are so much complexer as they were a few years ago.
free electron: there's a Pentium II missing on your PCB  ;) Is it possible to play asteroids with it?

Very nice build! May I ask what the IC is for in this fuzzface?

John Lyons

Thanks.
The IC is a voltage converter to run the pedal from a negative DC supply so
it will daisy chain with other NPN pedals. The Chip supplies a positive and negative voltage
which and isolates it from ground.

Sweet, that's an awesome idea.

DELAYED SYNCHRONY

I really like this one. It's just two of my Echo Logic circuits into a box. It sounds awesome and looks nice.

Cheers!

That's really really beautiful. I especially like the Sunburst effect you got in the middle of the enclosure.
