So many good etches on page 38. Properly awesome!!!

My take on three Escobedo snippets. 'Flatus' is based on the Bronx Cheer, 'LMC567' is based on the Thing Modulator, and 'Helium' is based on the Octup Blender. Still needs tweaking, so clips and schemos are not quite appropriate yet. Thanks Tim!

@gary, nice, great layout,  i like to see multifx like that, especially with the led switching too...great to use those classic little circuits in one box, ideal...  8) 8)

Latest etch...

Didn't sand the enclosure enough and ended up with grooves with the press n peel. Etched it anyway, thought it looked interesting.

Fantastic design.

Built a Jazz Rat for a guy in Japan.
He asked if I could etch a Dalek on the front, I said- Sure thing!

The dalek 'ear' flickers when you play. If you're a Dalek fan you'll probably think that's pretty cool.  ;)

Madbean Fatpants (EP Booster with tone control mods and adjustable voltage)

This time, I was going for a rustic look, so my shoddy etch job fits.

Hopefully, Jimmy Page won't sue me for trademark infringement.
Mockingbird wish me luck.

Fantastic design.

Thanks a lot guys, I'm a big Radiohead/Thom Yorke fan so had to get something related on my board! :)

ch1naski

I will never understand how you guys get such clean etches.
Mockingbird wish me luck.

Before I made my first stompbox I have been lurking around in this topic for etching inspiration, and here's my first post, build and etch.

I have been using etching ground as used by artists to etch into copper and zinc plates for making etch prints on paper. Through this method you can sort of paint your design and scratch away excess paint. And so it becomes more of a handdrawn design.
The basis is from a General Guitar Gadgets kit for a Green Russian Muff, to which I added two switches, one for turning it into a Civil War Muff and the other for bypassing the first clipping stage to make it a Tone Bender or a second clipping with Zener diodes.

Cheers, Tjø

That came out beautifully.
Nice job, and love the artwork !
Mockingbird wish me luck.

Thanx guys, I really love the definite character of etching.
