liagasg - nice work. What's the BS250 doing in your layout?

BS250 works as a polarity protection for the whole circuit. I use it instead of diode protection. I've read in an article that works better than diodes. I've tested it, and I've been using it that way in all my builds.

OK - so the body diode is in series with V+ I guess. Fair enough.

I am.

But when you take your NPN germanium, put 9v on the collector and ground the emitter, and measure 0.08v on the gate with your DMM you start to question yourself and flip the bloody transistor around, only to measure 0.01v on that bloody gate.

Well, I'm on my way to a company kick off that includes a visit to the Carlsberg brewery, I'll be back at it Sunday, I'll even start a debug thread.

Maybe the Calrsberg brewery visit will help your bias problems.

Yes, it's based on the Shredmaster

@deadastronaut
Self adhesive vinyl (decal), cut out on a plotter. Applied on the box and then clear coated.

Sorry-it appears that my poor attempt at humor isn't translating well. I'll just say that I hope you get enough samples (of ethanol tinged fluids) at the brewery to straighten out your bias problem.

Samples were ample though they knew nothing about germanium transistor biasing :-(

So, I'm torn deciding between two pedals to enter. I'm thinking either my true ring mod CV phaser delay with LCD and digi knobs or a LPB-1. What do you guys think?   :D

Seriously, I have something on the breadboard, but that's it so far  :'(        I'll still turn something in! I just hope it's not an insult to the judges when it shows up in a tupperware box with mismatched knobs  ;D

Bravo everyone who's entered something so far, all killer builds, per usual.
