Nitefly182, would you tell me what kind of wire are you using?

NTE 22ga stranded.

"MORE COWBELL"

NPN boost, plus produces a pink noise *ping* at an interval set by an lfo, for automatic cowbell accompaniment of your noodling.

Guit vol = adjusts volume of guitar/boost
Bell vol = adjusts volume of pink noise oscillator
Rate = adjusts lfo rate, which gates the pink noise

Switches bypass effect and toggle cowbell on/off.

Apologies for fuzzy pic....

Hides-His-Eyes

You mind if i post that on HCFX? It's incredible.

How can we rest, sleep or even live without soundclips (with moo-sical accompaniment of course) and schematics?

Gorgeous as usual.  I especially like the ground bus and the board for the pots.  Great artwork as well.  You did forget to show us the underside of the perfboard so we could all be jealous.

Thanks for sharing.

StereoKills

Rick, your ground net is disgustingly perfect. Very nice build, I'm digging the blue and silver theme you've got going on lately.

Markeebee, brilliant idea and I'm loving the reference to my favorite SNL skit :)

Hey, Rick, isn't that input jack wire too close to the 3PDT ground connection?
I know you're a perfboard cyborg and maybe you are just leaving them at the exact distance (in nanometers) to avoid any noises coming from the circuit induced in the 3PDT, so please forgive me if I'm trying to find errors in your build.. as StereoKills said: it's disgustingly perfect.

We will forgive you if you give us a demo :icon_biggrin:
Nice build!

Ok, so it's not really a pedal. :)

LOL, this one is real. I have the solder burns to prove it :)

Beavis, I don't really know all the things that that thing does, but it looks beautiful! Congrats!

Here's my last one, the Dual Boost, based in the SHO with some mods.

I uploaded a video demo to show what it does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4I_SOlYghU

Fernando.-

Edit: Sorry, I forgot the guts!!!!

G. Hoffman

Shit, I've got to post after Slade?

Sigh.

My rebuilt amp.  Just a few pictures, and a link to a few more.

The shocking thing, to me (figuratively, thankfully!), is that it worked the first time I powered it up.  So I guess, now the fun starts - I can start to mod it!

Wow!

I just started messing with an Arduino and was thinking of building some kind of proto board.  Now I'm not!  I think I'll just stick with floppy wires in a tiny breadboard balanced on the edge of a computer table.

Try a little tenderness.

Incredible and beautiful build, Rick! I guessed that it was a PITA to build that one...

And for the 600 pages of this thread: I WAS HERE! ;D
Unbelievable :o :o :o

above is the date for post 1 on page 500. That is 100 pages in ¾ year. In this speed we will reach 1000 within 3 years. Keep the steam up and post...post... post....

Any one in for statistics?
How many pictures?
How many different Types?
How many of each type?
How many builders?
How many builds per builder?
Etc

The statistics in here ought to be a goldmine for an ethnologist struggling to find a subject for a doctors degree paper.
Come to think of it, psychology and compulsive effect building disorder might be a better degree for studying this content. :D
