Just an evil thought from someone assholish enough to decant the pulpy orange juice every morning:

Make 30 sets of these, all missing the top right corner pedal. Hype up on TGP. Have collectors/tone snobs seeking the mysteriously toneful top-right pedal that nobody seems to want to part with.  ;D

Love all your pedals, they oozing with mojo!

Here's my latest:
a phase 90, my first reverse etch attempt, didn't go so well... I think I have to improve the transfer process...
looks like the pedal has been forgotten outside at the mercy of a bad weather for several years :P

I see your point, but I think it looks cool. A stompbox left in a highway ditch for 25 years.  :)

Well, thanks.
It didn't turn out as I was hoping, but I like it too.

Hi all,
been a lurker here for a while, great site, lots of good info.
So here's a pic of a pedal I've just finished, it's a Colorsound Overdriver, on vero.

Gut Shot, not the neatest, but it works.

:-)

Very nice build.

First post but not your first build!

A fan of Tayda also.

Welcome to the madness!

I swear I have transistors around here somewhere.

Consistency is a worthy adversary

Correct, not my first build, it's around my 5th.

I use a number of suppliers, Tayda just happen to be good value for some items.

Here's a version of the Tycobrahe Octavia I did a few weeks ago. This was the first pedal I tried painting.

Gut shot, while still under construction.

I like the blue finish. Is that powdercoat or blue hammerite?

Any schematic of that power supply box?
How do you so the plates on your pedals....they look great!

DavenPaget

It's definitely a 'sinked LM7809 with some 1000uf caps on the input , that's all .

The boxes are sprayed with hammerite spray. The faceplates are made from 1mm aluminium sheetmetal - etched. Why am I not etching the box itself you ask? Because I had several problems with etching tayda boxes... They jus won't etch using HCl and H2O2. And the sheet metal is much easier to prepare.

And about the power supply box - DavenPaget is very close :) It is slightly modified ultra clean power supply schematics from the GGG. Amazingly those couple components do the trick!
