Hi there! Please greet my recent build: dual-channel "Uber Medved" 666% tube preamp.








That cute "radiation" pilot lamp is from real nuclear power plant  radiation leakage detector (of course it is not radiated itself, it is new, unused and absolutely clean, but indeed such indicators are commonly used in nuclear submarines,  icebreakers and power plants as a part of radiation alarm system). So, guys, don't worry, I'm fine - no third eye or sixth finger or any other superpower I didn' obtained.

basically its a 'son of screamer' with optional clipping diodes in the output fb loop.
which adds a nice compression option

3 tones, and 3 gain options/so can mix n match.... so basically its a TS with a bit more balls. but can still be a standard TS too.

i'll whack the docs etc on my site soon...been uber busy.  8)

This is still kind of a work in progress. It works, but it looks like I'm going to need shielded wire in a few places I wasn't thinking about ::) But anyway, this is my Matchles Hotbox clone. I have a bit of a Matchless fetish, so I've always wanted one, but $400 for a used one vs. $100 or so for parts is kind of a no-brainer :P I'm going to unbox it so I can re-do some of the wiring and so I can finish the box, but this is what it look like now (without the bottom, obviously):

Nope, came from a guy on eBay, I just drilled it :P the build would have been a lot easier if the enclosure was just a little bit bigger ::)
