BYOC VB-2
This was a repair/rehouse, so sorry no gut shot...

The Harmonic Sink (Harmonic Energizer)

One of Zappa's favourite tool (hence the etch.) Added an expression jack for the Q control.

Sounds like "carob redux" one of John Lyon's best fuzzes, absolutely phenomenal design, I love it.

While it's a sound-alike, the guts are far from look-alike.

Syncrotron (the awesome Mega Chorus.Vibrato)

A baffling number of parameters, so I gave them appropriate- and real, thematically related names.

Finally, the "el Segundo Primo" (BYOC el distort Segundo)- working up my "useful" Spanish for my imminent trip to the US!

Made a few mods, but really dig it!.

Love these resin knobs!

Hadn't boxed it, but posted this demo a little while ago.

It's builds like this that made my try etching in the first place. Super clean, you make it look super easy. It isn't :P

Here's another one, a Fender Blender

Has the old 2N3391 transistors and an octave defeat on a stomp instead of the tone switch.

Mr. Codtone. Enough already! You're making me feel like a lazy slacker. Awesome builds and etches! Very inspiring.

I got grand-nephew- for one translation, anyway. :)  I was also handed  'el segundo premio'  (as in 'the second prize') also...

"the second cousin" is the correct literal translation, however "primo" is also slang.
There's a big clue in the control names... ;)
