Nice job. Where'd you get the enclosure?

That's a Teko case. The insides are totally trashy. I think if I ever install a new battery, the circuit is going to fall apart. :icon_biggrin:

I finished this "3 in 1" yesterday:

It's a Flanger-Chorus-Phaser

This is the unfinished outside:

Finishing will be similar to the Rat, I'm afraid

Yeah, there's a lot of wooshing, wiggling and wobbling going on in this thing  ;D

The  effects are : FL301 flanger, CE-2 Chorus and Ross Phaser.

All PCB Layouts by Tonepad (thanks FP)

I will add extra stages for the phaser later on.

As satirical as it sounds, it'd be pretty funky to live your afterlife as a pedal. :D

And you think people step all over you now!

They will stomp you with respect an gratitude when you're a pedal. ;)

I'm now thinking of making my pedalboard a bit softer and warmer inside. :icon_lol:

i wonder how anyone offended by any of these feel about metasonix pedals?  lol  their pedals are amazing!  especially their new one, the scrotum smasher!   :icon_lol:
Talking about offencive pedals, I made an orange squeezer for a friend. It's called "The Cum-presser". Can't show you pics without being banned, though. It's so rude I never even showed it too my girlfriend, but my friend who I made it for loves it.

Papa_lazerous

How about you mail me a pic of the cum-pressor just to see if its what I am picturing lol

or better still put it on photo bucket and insert a link that says Dont click me and then we can mke our own choice about seeing it

big bustle

i'd like to see the cum-pressor pictures too.

also i thought you guys might be interested in the board.  it's very thin (cuts easily with scissors) clear, and cheap.  from here: http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G15697

Hi Joe, I take these knobs from local shop here in Bulgaria..

choklitlove this is f**n crazy toy :)

I don't know, cheap is nice, easy to cut is nice, but I like my copper clad thick and sturdy.  The "somewhat flexible" they mention just seems like a recipe for not good.

No response to this yet? Man, this is freaking amazing! Very impressive, you've made etching into an art! keep m coming, awesome!

For those of us not so clever, what is it?

choklitlove: is it etched the normal way? or are there any special/different methods?

Roobin

markm: fabulous stuff :o ;D, even if the labels are a bit odd...

Sorry if you've answered this before, but how did you come up with this method? did you accidentally spill some acid, look and had a eureka moment, running outside? Or is it a known technique? I see some boutique pedal makers have adopted a similar finishing process...It's rather cool how the same stuff you use to etch PCBs can also etch boxes...

Let's make this 100 pages!

the normal way.  that is, if your normal way is the ferric chloride bath.  i think it's awesome and it will probably double my circuit board output.  i live where i have to be quiet at night and i like to do all of my work at night.  making boards without power tools (except for the holes) is a blessing.  and the holes take no time at all.

Hey choklit,
Nice sound effects generator you got there!  I need to make something similar soon.

I'm abotu to house a project into a Teko box but I'm afraid that the upright walls of the bottom parts might bend and slip to the sides and I might stomp the top part to ground. Is it sturdy enough for heavy stomping?
